Donate W5KUB VIDEO BROADCAST Donate |
We have been putting on live internet broadcast of hamfests for 10 years. Each year we improve our system and offer it to Hams around the world at no charge. W5KUB has been covering the cost each year. We will spend over $1500 to put this broadcast on. It is really a major undertaking to put a broadcast on the internet of this size and scope. Hundreds of hours of planning, coordination, testing, and the actual broadcast are required for each event. Some of you have inquired whether you could make a donation. For those of you that would like to donate, we have added a Paypal donation button. We make it easy, donate by credit card, debit card, or your Paypal account. It uses the Paypal security that you can count on. Any donation is greatly appreciated by W5KUB. Below see some of the interesting segments we have had on the broadcast.

| Astronaut Col Doug Wheelock commander of the ISS was our
guest on Friday and Saturday at Hamvention 2011. I talked to him 28 times and sent him BBQ for his first meal
when he landed.

In Nov 2011 we did an entire day broadcast of all MFJ companies. | In 2008 Officer Fitz stopped us speeding (wont say how
bad it was) but everyone on the chat room was taking up a collection to
bail us out.
This year we plan on trying to meet with Officer Fitz as we head back to Dayton. We hope she will give us an escort through town.Update: Officer Fitz and her captain declined to meet with us. |
